About Me

I spent more than 20 years working as a senior web developer, but always had a keen interest in woodworking. Eventually, I decided to buy my first circular saw and put that interest into practice.
My first project was a simple one: installing a small worktop above a washing machine to make better use of some otherwise wasted space in our kitchen. It may have been a modest undertaking, but the sense of satisfaction it brought inspired me to take on more ambitious projects.
Over time, I completed a wide range of pieces, including a kitchen vegetable trolley, custom wooden shutters for a home office, and bespoke alcove units for a lounge.
As my passion for woodworking grew, so did the scale of my projects. Tired of working outdoors on the ground and being at the mercy of the weather, I embarked on my most ambitious challenge yet: designing and building a fully equipped garden workshop entirely by myself (with the exception of installing electrics), from the foundations up. Completing the build in my spare time through late autumn and winter made the project even more demanding, but also immensely rewarding.
Having my own dedicated workshop transformed the way I work, providing the space, comfort, and flexibility needed to focus on creating high-quality pieces.
Today, I specialise in bespoke cabinetry, primarily using plywood, designing and installing bespoke solutions tailored to requirements.
